    Stage is set for the arrest of senior Telugu Desam Party leader and former AP Mahila Commission chairperson Nannapaneni Rajakumari for allegedly abusing a Dalit police officer using her caste name. YSR Congress party MLA from Mangalagiri Alla Ramakrishna Reddy on Friday met Director General of Police Gautam Sawang and submitted a petition demanding the immediate arrest of Nannapaneni Rajakumari. During Chalo Atmakur rally on Wednesday, Nannapaneni allegedly made objectionable comments against a Dalit sub-inspector Anuradha, who came to the hotel where the TDP leader was staying to prevent her from coming out to participate in the rally. Hurt with Nannapaneni’s comments, the SI filed a complaint with Mangalagiri police station. The police have booked a case on Nannapaneni under 303, 506,509 r/w 34 IPC Sections. On the other hand, the YSRCP leaders strongly condemned the abusive language used by the former Mahila Commission chairperson. They staged a dharna in Mangalagiri demanding her arrest.
